We can't deny the fact that (even though the majority among us don't like talking about him, because it's not cool) Baba Ramdev is a great marketer.
Since the start of Patanjali, Baba Ramdev told us about the evils of MNCs, the virtues of products made in India, the corruption of corporates, the exploitation of farmers, the cancerous effects of fertilizers and chemicals, and just about everything that surrounded Patanjali products.
He showed us the reasons and left us on our own to explore Patanjali's products. He gave power to consumers to choose the best.
And currently, too, he is still following the same strategy along with his multi-touchpoint strategy.
Being the face of the company, he can be seen everywhere (repetitive but still not seen as forced, unlike others). And with such a following (community) he has got great word of mouth publicity.
This explains why the company has no or low advertisements across platforms. When you are a top of mind recall for ayurvedic products, you don't waste money on advertisements.
Follow Baba Ramdev for Marketing Lessons. Period.
